Who it is for
This service is for companies that have their own accounting department but need experienced oversight of its work. The main benefit is early detection of errors and of books that do not comply with the law, before they lead to corrected returns, penalties or qualifications from the statutory auditor.
What the service covers
Monthly review of the books
- checking the trial balance after each month end and how the accounting documents of that month were booked;
- detailed analysis of balances with suppliers and customers, public authorities, employees and others;
- checking cash records;
- checking fixed and intangible asset registers and the depreciation plan;
- reconciling actual balances with the accounts.
Taxes
- monthly review of VAT purchase and sales registers and JPK_V7 files;
- checking the calculation of corporate income tax advances and, in companies under Estonian CIT, reviewing hidden profits and expenses unrelated to business activity;
- verifying the annual CIT-8 or CIT-8E return.
Statements and findings
- verifying the monthly profit and loss account and balance sheet;
- reviewing the annual financial statements and support during the statutory audit;
- a detailed list of findings and errors in posting and recording business transactions, with proposed corrections.
How we work
After every month end we give your management and accounting team the results of our review with a list of findings, so errors are corrected as you go rather than at year end. We work remotely, so we supervise accounting departments of clients across Poland and abroad.
